TEST & NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION ENGINEER

The New Product Introduction Engineer provides the link between the product
development group and production, ensuring that new products can be
manufactured in collaboration with material engineering and RF departments
during the design phase, and developing hardware and software tools to
manufacture and test products.

Responsibilities:

- Interface with Hardware Engineering to ensure a proper level of DFM and
DFT, participating in design reviews for electronic boards and mechanical
modules and assembly.
- Create and maintain documentation related to production of electronic
products including mechanical parts.
- Provide external production support to the quality department for CM
monitoring, interfacing with external subcontractors in case of electronic
assembly issues and/or quality issues, and when necessary providing support
to subcontractors for production tests that are carried out externally.
- Define, develop, and validate software tool test sequences and hardware
test stations for production tests.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in designing and/or testing electronic
boards
- Experience with several of the following software: Python, NI Teststand,
C, C++, VB, SQL
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent knowledge of English and French, both oral and written

Assets:

- Experience in RF an asset
- Experience with electronic CAD tools
- experience with Orcad or PADS
- Knowledge of relational databases
