SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - C#, GUI

You will work, under the direction of an engineering supervisor, both
independently and as part of a team, on Windows based, application level
software. Such development is performed in the Microsoft Visual Studio
environments (C#, C++ and Visual Basic). Such software has both substantial
graphical user interface (GUI) design and implementation, instrument driver
development, mathematical algorithms, and technical RF content. The scope of the
assigned development tasks will initially be largely based on graphical user
interface development. Additionally, the scope of the work will extend into data
acquisition, data processing, API development, and mathematical analysis &
optimization.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 to 4 years working experience in software implementation in a
Windows based environment, using C#.
- Experience in graphical user interface design and implementation in Windows
based platforms. Preferably using Windows Forms (C#), WPF (C#), or 3rd party
graphical library.
- Experience in application level software implementation in C#.
- Knowledge and experience using the .NET framework and/or the Component Object
Model (COM & ActiveX) under Microsoft Visual Studio. In particular usage of
programming libraries that use any of these standards.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
- Ability to learn technical aspects of RF engineering and develop software
based on such knowledge

Assets:

- Experience in application level software implementation in all of C++ and
Visual Basic.
- Experience in National Instruments LabView or MathWorks Matlab.
- Experience with instrumentation level programming. Specifically,
driver development for remote data acquisition.
- Experience in software design and integrating multiple, pre-existing software
systems.
- Experience in implementing, testing, and supporting programming library
products (commercial APIs)
- Experience in customer support of application software
- Any general knowledge of RF measurement and engineering.
- Experience or knowledge of multi-variable optimization mathematics.
